This year, Santa rings first.
Do you remember what it felt like to be absolutely sure he was real? This Christmas, they get to feel it too. One evening, the phone will ring, and it'll be Father Christmas, from his desk by the workshop fire, asking for them by name. Years from now, they'll still be telling people about the year Santa phoned.
They won't believe forever.
This year, they do.
This is the Christmas they'll lie awake listening for sleigh bells, leave a mince pie on the hearth and a carrot for Rudolph, and wonder out loud how he fits down the chimney. Santa's call is a small piece of that, kept. He rings, he knows them, and afterwards there's a recording you'll still be playing when they're old enough to roll their eyes at it.

Tell Tinsel the elf a few secrets
Tinsel looks after Santa's telephone. Share your child's name and age, and one or two things only Santa could know: the lost tooth, the brave trip to the dentist, the bedtimes that need a little work.
Wait for the ring
Santa rings your mobile, straight away or at a time you choose. Save 01282 953426 in your phone as Father Christmas first, so his name lights up when he rings.
Hand the phone over, and watch
He'll ask how they've been, hear every wish and write it all in his big book, so next time he rings, he remembers. And the recording is yours to keep, to play again and again.*

He knows if they've been bad or good.
Tell him she's been reading to her little brother every night, and Santa will tell her how proud he is. Tell him the bedroom hasn't been tidied all week, and he'll have a quiet, kind word about it, ask for a promise, and write it in his big book. He's firm when he needs to be, always kind, and he never mentions coal. Just Santa, who's noticed.

Is Santa the same as Father Christmas?+
Yes, the very same man. He answers to both on the phone, so use whichever your family says.
Is it really Santa?+
The grown-up answer: Santa's voice is made with AI. He listens and answers, so it's a real conversation. We built him carefully, here in Lancashire, to be warm, patient and impossible to rattle, to stay Father Christmas whatever he's asked, never to promise a present, and never to ask where you live. To your child, he's simply Santa.
What number does Santa ring?+
Your mobile: the one you check with a little text code when you book. It's the only number Santa will ever ring, so nobody can send him to anyone else. Answer it yourself and hand the phone over, or let your child pick up.
How long is a call?+
Long enough to remember, short enough for a small person to stay with him. The free first call is about two minutes, a paid call two to four, and the Christmas Eve call up to five.
What does Santa do with what I tell him?+
He uses it on the call, and nowhere else. We keep your child's first name and age, your notes, and the recording of paid calls (or of a free call, if you chose to keep it) so you can play it again. Nothing is sold or shared, and we'll never send you newsletters.
